In the modern world, people can get married in a church, or by a man that has the authority. You can go with your girlfriend, get drunk, and by the next morning you will be with a ring on your finger. Marriage used to be something holy, but the twenty first century gave us more technology, free will, freedom, and unfortunately, more divorces. People do not think before they act. Therefore, they assume that if things will not work according to their plan, they can divorce and end the marriage. People in the past were afraid from the word “divorce”, but now, divorce has become more of a fashion. It seems that every year the divorce rate grows. I believe that the cause of divorces as due to independence of women, and an effect would consist of broken families and also crime.

Due to technology in the twenty first century, the world keeps developing and things are changing all the time. A little bit after World War 2 the world has changed. The women all over the world realized that their place is not in the kitchen at all, but at the work places and even leads the society. Women start to work in big companies, firms, government offices and even as a repair person. Now days, women start to take important jobs and make an independent stand, thoughts and the men are not the control gender in a relationship. Since that development, the women start to divorce their husbands instead of be the quiet women in the kitchen. Men are not used to the fact that women think, act, work and speak without their permission. In marriage like in work, women all over the world start to be more active, decisions are made by women and

Man together, and finally women consider equal to men. All of this contributes due to the fact that women are divorce their husbands more often than twenty years ago.

            As a result of divorces, families are broken because both of the husband and the wife cannot stand each other and they want to live alone, far away from the other side. The husband and the wife start to fight on the custody of their children; they evolve the jurisdiction of the government and they will have lots of sessions in the court. Even the child care office will interfere and maybe even take the child away, and none of the partners will win, furthermore, the child will lose a father and a mother, and will grow up in a foster family and not with his be loving ones. Those sessions in the court are frustrating and so unnecessary to both sides. After this kind of a fight between the parents there is no way back, none of the sides will try to overcome this fight for the rest of the family. The family and all their surrounding will suffer from this situation. It evolves with hate, envy, greed, and lots of bad and awkward situations.

            As a consequence of divorce, the child can grow up in a foster family, when he can lose his mind because they are not his true parents, and he would not understand why he cannot be with his real parents by blood. If the stays with his parents in a broken home, he can get lost in the middle of the fight between the parents. The child can look for other role models and he can find himself in a gang, do lots of illegal things, the child will never understand that to be in a gang is bad because no one thought him this, his parents were too busy with their own fights. 

            In conclusion, Parents should be more responsible of their acts, if they are going to married they need to be curtain that this is the right thing to do. Make sure that you are going to marry the person you loved in all your hurt, and do not be hasty or rush with your decision. And

If you are going to divorce you need to think on the children first, and then make room and time to your own problems. The divorce rate grows because lots of things as an independence of the women; therefore, the people start to pay more attention to their decisions. I believe that crime and broken families will disappear from this word as soon as the people realized that they are making stupid decisions that reflect on their surroundings.
